Archived weather data from the UO reporting station on top of the Computing center can be accessed via the linked image to the right. This access engine is powered by Java WebStart so you will need the lastest Java installed on your client if the application does not open. Click on the image to the right to download and run the application.

The Archived data begin on Jan 1, 2006.

Notes for usage:

• Click on the image: The application will download and open in a separate application window in a few seconds.

• Different tabs select different data sets to plot. Plots are updated in realtime (every 15 minutes) without any user action required. Hence you can just leave the application running and the data will be updated as it comes in.

• The tab marked Overlay Chart allows you to overlay different time sequence plots (for instance dew point vs temperature).

• Important: You can zoom in this graphing application by simply drawing a rectangular box around the area of interest using the left mouse button. The graph will automatically zoom. However, it will stay in zoom mood unless you place the mouse on the graph, hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse to the left. That will reset the scale to include all of the data.
